A solar hot water system we designed and installed for the Chinatown Community Development Center (PDF).
Solar thermal technology uses the sun’s rays to generate and concentrate heat. This heat is then used to power mechanical systems for a variety of applications, such as solar water-heating and solar cooling. Solar thermal technology saves money for owners of commercial buildings by greatly reducing consumption of fossil fuels, such as natural gas and electricity, which are typcially used to power cooling and water-heating systems.
